Tenants will sign a form of License to Occupy for a term certain of no greater than 6 months. This ensures that as long as the total occupancy does not extend beyond 6 months, no security of tenure is granted. If the tenancy is longer than 6 month, a Statutory Declaration must be signed, waiving their rights of tenure as granted in the Landlords & Tenants Acts.
